
A few days ago I took a couple hours to go out and visit the Elkhorn Slough (pronounced “slew) which is a huge wetland on Monterey Bay. It is now a national research center and park located on what had been a dairy farm. It really is a very impressive place.
This was just an exploratory mission. I’ll be making some more trips out there in the next week or so to do some serious shooting.
