Salinas Jaycee Dodgeball Tournament

A great time was had Thursday night. 01/27/11 at the Salinas, CA Sports Center as the Salinas Jaycees sponsored the annual dodgeball tournament. I was was pleased to be the event photographer. Spent a good part of today wandering Monterey Bay coastline from Moss Landing up to Capitola. Woderful weather, wonderful shooting conditions.

Along the Big Sur Coast

Winter brings wonderful light to what is already a beautiful coastline at Big Sur on California's Central Coast. I am delighted to be back and to have another opportunity to capture some of that beauty. It truly is one of God's wonders.

Yesterday Gerri and I took advantage of a break in the hot and oppresively muggy weather to make a visit to Essex, CT., a place I have not seen in years. It is still just as beautiful as I remembered it being.

Go East Young Man, Go East!

Well, anything worth doing is worth doing to excess.

If you are going to move, it might be about as far as you can go and still stay in the United States. I have picked up cameras and computers along with the rest of my earthly belongings and moved to Connecticut where I expect to employ the knowledge and experience I gained in my years in California. I have set up shop as Wilson of Waterbury Photography offering professional and cost conscious wedding, event and commercial photographic services in Connecticut.

Rose of the Valley

I was up the Salinas Valley to the Hahn Vineyard and winery. Their vineyard is bordered by some lovely roses like this one.
