I opened my mail the other day and found the announcement of this year's Salinas International Air Show. This event is staged in September and is one of the hightlights of my year. My inner child rejoices at the chest rattling roar of a P-51making a low pass or at the sight of F-18s of The Blue Angels doing their incredible close formations. I'll start planning how to shoot this year's event soon.This image captures in an abstract sort of way a bi-plane and a Douglas DC-3.
