Mini-Studio

We got an inexpensive mini-studio for product shooting. It comes with two two-sided screens ranging from bright white to black. Today I took a porcelain geisha and garden lamp out to give it a try.

John, now that you've hit the big time, you should head on over to The Strobist (http://strobist.blogspot.com) and pick up all of the free lighting techniques that you can! :-) Also, have a look at Joe McNally's site; he works wonders with flash.

Nice shots.

Mastering and understanding light opens all the doors. These are great lighting kits which yield all kinds of cool experimentation. Have fun!
