Last year at Christmas time son Will and I went up into The High Sierra near Donner Pass. It was one of those "memory making" days that you carry with you the rest of your life, nothing big, just a very good time. It was a combination of great company and a great place.
We need to do that again.

The third picture is alot like how I feel at the moment-with a world of weight on my branches-but it'll melt off soon enough. Remember John, take no cut offs and hurry along as fast as you can. I hear those winters over the "pass" can be deadly...
Let me tell you, John, I wish that I could go with you. I could stand to photograph some snow and hang out with the likes you guys again!
