This is one of my favorite effects, eliminating all colors but one, in this case red.
This is another shot taken at Mission San Juan Bautista. I opened the aperture pretty far up, 4.5 if memory serves, thus the DOF you see.

I like it too MJ when it's used on an appropriate subject matter and I think this is appropriate. I like the isolation and most particualrly the visual impact the effect creates.
As a side note. Your image has chinese characters when opened in another tab or window. I'm not sure if you're aware of this or if it means anything of inappropriate conduct?
