Well, Manu (SF Daily Photo) and I headed out for the Pescadero coast south of Half Moon Bay. It was my first chance to use the new wide angle lens here captured magnificently by Manu. The ugly dude behind the camera is moi. It was a great day and fine company. Manu has the equipment and the ability to use it. My humble lens gave me a couple of nice images that I'll post later this week.
Below is an image of me in an embarassing posture getting a picture that will also be posted later in the week.

BTW, we might be able to get together this summer. My wife and I are planning a trip to Carmel/Big Sur!
Ha! This reminds me of the many times you might see me with my knees in the snow - or worse, my whole body!! The worst part for me is getting back up! I can't wait to see the results of this one!!
Hmmm ... let's see what Monterey is up to ... looks like fun ... really jealous about the new lens hope you are enjoying it

Manu has got some great images of you MJ. The bottom is a great (although slightly embarrassing) image of dedication to the fun of photography.
I love that top picture of your new lens, but the other one probably shows more of who you are...I like those types of photos best. Looking forward to some new pix with the lens.
