It's that time of year again. The grays are running north, and the blues and humpbacks will follow within the next couple of weeks. The elephant seals are calving and the coast is coming alive.
Folks gather at places like Pigeon Point Lighthouse (this image) and Ano Nuevo State Reserve to take in the scenes.
