The Canon 100-300mm USM performed liked a trooper. It found the focus in limited lighting. I goosed the ISO up to 400 and the exposure worked . I really can not complain about the equpment at all.
So glad everything is working out well for you, John. This is a great catch! Now that I know where the pelicans are around my area, they are my next wildlife challenge.
