Up the Salinas Valley, America's Salad Bowl, there are still signs of the Steinbeck era. It is hot and dusty. In the field of plenty the Mexicans labor harvesting for our dinner tables.

I love old houses, buildings, barns and sheds. They have a unique connectivity to something that used to be.
Looks as though at one time this wuld have ben a house of an aristocrat or similar? I'm only guessing.

That was a beautiful structure at one time, and still has such appeal to it. Lovely capture with that gorgeous blue sky behind!
